A beautiful hair pin with a quintessentially British Camellia flower in layers of hand dyed silk, with gold and crystal accents.


Collection no. I of handcrafted silk hair flower accessories designed in collaboration with costume designer and artist Fiona Chivers.

Taking our inspiration from female botanical artists, and in particular the work of Mary Delaney, we set out to distil the essence of ephemeral British garden flowers into elegant hair accessories. Our first collection of delicate silk and leather hair pins marries the traditional techniques of millinery and natural dyeing, with a refined modern twist.

From our first collection, this Camellia hair pin is created by hand in our Cornish studio, using a variety of couture and modern millinery techniques.  Every aspect has been designed by us, and each part is hand crafted, shaped and made to make each piece individual, here in the UK.

With layers of naturally dyed silk habotai and chiffon, gold plated stamens and hair pins, we have also added a touch of sparkle with a brilliant cut Swarowksi crystal centre.

Returns Policy


At Lancaster & Cornish we love to send out our products in beautiful packages, packed and prepared with love and care.
All of our products are send pressed (ironed) and wrapped in acid free tissue paper. Ribbons are send on either wooden pegs or dowels or our own sustainable wooden spools. No need to iron when you receive them, and everything arrives ready to go.
Our table linens are pressed and folded, unless otherwise requested. These can be sent on cardboard rolls by request, and for an additional postage charge. Please contact to discuss your requirements.


We ship worldwide from our UK base.
Due to the hand made and dyed nature of our products, lead times can vary, and can be up to 3 weeks from order to despatch. Please allow time for this and for shipping time when you place your order.
If you have an urgent deadline, we will always try and help you if we know about it. Contact to discuss.
For bespoke orders, lead and delivery time will be discussed at the point of order.
