Hand-crafted and dyed with natural plant dyes, our silk ribbons are available in bamboo silk and habotai silk.  The bamboo silk ribbon has a matt finish to one side and a slight sheen to the other and the raw edges are naturally frayed adding to the charm of the ribbon.  Habotai silks are bias cut, so there is a small silk sewn join every 2 metres along the length.

Please add a note at checkout specifting any particular samples you require.

Each sample is approximately 25 cm in length and the price includes shipping. PLEASE NOTE: the sample will provide a colour reference only. Exact colours cannot be replicated due to the hand dyed nature of the product, different batches can produce variations in colour.

We hand dye our ribbons in small batches to  a secret recipe.

Our standard lead time is 2 weeks from order to despatch, plus additional shipping time.

Packaging

At Lancaster & Cornish we love to send out our products in beautiful packages, packed and prepared with love and care.
All of our products are send pressed (ironed) and wrapped in acid free tissue paper. Ribbons are send on either wooden pegs or dowels or our own sustainable wooden spools. No need to iron when you receive them, and everything arrives ready to go.
Our table linens are pressed and folded, unless otherwise requested. These can be sent on cardboard rolls by request, and for an additional postage charge. Please contact sian@lancasterandcornish.co.uk to discuss your requirements.

Shipping

We ship worldwide from our UK base.
Due to the hand made and dyed nature of our products, lead times can vary, and can be up to 3 weeks from order to despatch. Please allow time for this and for shipping time when you place your order.
If you have an urgent deadline, we will always try and help you if we know about it. Contact sian@lancasterandcornish.co.uk to discuss.
For bespoke orders, lead and delivery time will be discussed at the point of order.
Lancaster & Cornish are not responsible for any import taxes or fees incurred in the destination country.
